Hey everyone

We only have one and a half weeks left and we have a lot going on.

1. End Of Year Concert, which is tomorrow, Wednesday, which is also the same day as Blackwood High School’s orientation day. Every class will be doing something different, but everything a Christmas theme. Our class will be doing ETM……

2. Quiz Night, where we answer questions and eat food.

3.  Graduation, where all year 7′s will be graduating and leaving Hawthorndene Primary School FOREVER.

4. Last Day Of School, when all of us year 7′s will be getting t-shirts signed and saying farewell.

5. High school next year. Next year the year 7′s will be taking our seperate ways, at different high school, such as Blackwood, Urrbrae, Concordia, Mercedes and St John’s.

Hello everyone,

I’m sure you missed my wonderful posts, as I was enjoying the holidays, and finishing my IB Project so you can tell that I had absolutely, definitely no time AT ALL. I am quite sorry about my absence, even not that many people visit anyways……

Anyway, on to the news for now.

It is now the last term, term 4. A lot of things are happening. 1. The IB Project displays, that will be held in the activity hall, with all of the year 6/7′s finished products and journals. If you are in my school, please do have a look, it’s really quite worthwhile looking at all the projects.

2. New Zealand trip. 23 people(the New Zealand Choir) are going to be able to go to New Zealand! Also, that would be incuding me, so I’ll be gone for a week as well. We shall be performing at all types of places, like schools and the mayor’s hall! Also, we’re going to QE2! XD Sooo exciting!

3. Graduation. The Year 7′s of 2010 will be graduating this year, and there are a lot of things we need to do for graduation. The CD cover, speech, outfits, and other stuff, I’m sure.

So you see, there are lots of things happening.

Hello everyone!

Today is Fair Day, where every class will have 1, 2, or even 3 stalls! Selling things like Wizz Fizz, Icecream, Icy Cold Cans, Popcorn, and there’s definitely more!

There are also GAME stalls, like Putt-Putt and Shoot The Hoop!

Our class has three stalls: Sausage Sizzle/Icy Colds, Putt-Putt and the Ping Pong Challenge!

This will go on for an hour. Today. At 12noon.

Also, The New Zealand Choir has finally gotten their New Zealand Choir Tops! They look amazing! They have all our names on the back. It’s only a month or so till we leave to NZ!

The Project for this Term is the IB Project! It’s the biggest project all year! It goes for 12 weeks. I’m doing a picture and a story. I’ve done some pictures and a Journal Entry but not much else…..

What about you?!

We’ve also got the Food Project AND the Aboriginal Project!

Anyways that’s all I’ve got to say this time…

Hey everyone!

Today is the last day of Term 2 and time for holidays!

First thing I’m doing in the holidays is going to a concert! It’s going to be so much fun.

What is everyone else doing for the holidays? Aswell as going to the concert, I’m definitely going to the movies, and also Rundle Mall. Hehehe………

BUT!

As soon as we get back next term, the IB Personal Project will start! After it starts, there will be a mad rush for all the materials, journal, etc….. Oh no…..I STILL don’t know what to do for mine! How about everyone else? 

A lot of things are going on next term, and this term has also been very busy! There was the play, Biodiversity, and now we’re starting a cooking project(which will be continued next term of course…..)!!!!

I’ve finished my ramblings, and now I’m going to go play some games.

Hey everyone!

Holidays are over, and school has started once more!

As soon as we’re back, our awesome teacher has given us lots of work to do and projects to finish.Time for IB rotations again and we all go into different classes. Pam will teach us about the horrible things about online social net working. Mr Mac will teach us about the safety of the Beach and what to look out for. Mr Berry teaches us about how to have a convincing argument in debating, then we go against our classmates in a debating battle. Ruth, from the library gets us to make some cool robots-out of rubbish! Also, we’ve got BIODIVERSITY, which is all about plants, life, nature and animals. The topics are Invasive Plants, Introduced Animals, Wetlands and Micro Organisms.

Term 2 is also all about the year 6/7 plays! Our play is Pirates of the Carob Bean! An exciting adventure about pirates! Treasure! Romance! The auditons began and finished. Now every part is filled! Here are the roles:

On Friday we had Sports day! Here are this years results!

Even thought the team I’m in came 3rd, it was still a lot of fun…..

So what was your favorite event and why? Mine is hurdles, because it’s fun to jump over the hurdles…

As you know, yesterday and the day before we did Aquatics!! Uwaaahhh! That was so much fun! I did Snorkelling and Waveskiing! Last year I did Sailboarding and Waveskiing.

As you might…….I’m kinda sick of saying that, so……….

This is the last term of Primary School the year 7′s are having and their Graduation is coming up FAST!!!

So have you all done your speeches? Got an outfit???? I hope so!

As for the year 6′s……..MC position!!! I’m trying out. Are you?
